§ 66-1. Maintenance and repair of public streets.

  • All maintenance and repair of public streets, alleys, curbs, sidewalks and other public ways shall be under the supervision of the street superintendent, which officer shall have the responsibility of enforcing all provisions of this Code and all ordinances of the city relating to such public ways. Citizens will pay one-third of the original cost of paving streets adjoining their property. The city shall pay the difference and any later costs for repairs.
